The Soper Group is experiencing strong growth. We are looking for a Head of Communications and Events with a 5/6 years' experience ideally in an SME environment and/or in renewable energies.

 

PERMANENT CONTRACT - COMMUNICATIONS AND EVENTS MANAGER (M/F) 

 

Based in Montpellier and reporting to the Managing Director in charge of Group Operations, you will be responsible for Group communications and events for Soper and its two industrial subsidiaries, Sunti and MGH Energy. Depending on our needs and growth, you may be asked to manage a project manager and/or a trainee.

Main tasks:

• Proposing and implementing a brand image and positioning strategy,
• Proposing and implementing communication strategies,
• Preparing and implementing internal communications,
• Preparing and implementing external communications to meet the needs of teams and management in support of project development,
• Content writing: articles, press releases, press kits, etc.
• Creation of visuals in collaboration with a graphic designer,
• Press relations management in conjunction with press agencies,
• Management of digital communication tools (websites, social networks, newsletters, etc.),
• Organisation of events: corporate events, inaugurations, prize-giving ceremonies, etc.
• Organisation of trade fair participation (registration, stand, goodies, etc.)
• Brand management (logo, graphic charters, renewal of trademark registrations, etc.)
• Management of partnerships (patronage, sponsorship, etc.)
• Monitoring the communication and events budget for the Group and its subsidiaries.

Profile required:

• 5 years' higher education in communications,
• At least 5 years' experience in communications,
• Fluency in written and spoken expression,
• Perfect command of written and spoken English,
• Driving licence required,
• Proficiency in the Office pack (Word, Excel and Powerpoint),
• Solid writing and storytelling skills,
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus,
• Understanding the challenges of e-fuels and photovoltaic projects and sensitivity to the issues involved in the energy transition is a plus.

• Ability to manage several projects at the same time and meet deadlines,
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Annual remuneration: €40-45k + variable - depending on experience
