SANDWICH COURSE - INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPER (M/F)

 

Based in Pérols near Montpellier and reporting to the company's international development department, you will be responsible for carrying out market studies to assess the relevance and feasibility of renewable fuel production projects in different countries. In this role, you will be required to :

Main mission:

  • Contribute to market studies in progress or to be initiated in various countries defined by Management:
    • Carrying out studies to assess the potential and feasibility of e-fuels projects in various countries;
    • Country market analysis (demand analysis, regulatory framework, taxation, subsidies, energy market, etc.);
    • Business intelligence: Identifying, listing and researching information on stakeholders in the target market segments (competitors, suppliers, offtakers, infrastructures, trade associations, events, investment funds, public bodies, competitiveness clusters, universities and colleges, etc.). Based on this data collection, contribution to the creation of maps of e-fuels ecosystems and players, as well as high added-value notes.

Secondary missions:

  • Contribute to land prospecting missions and the establishment of development partnerships in various countries;
  • Helping to identify calls for tender / calls for projects and funding windows (subsidies, bank, equity partners);
  • Contribute to institutional and regulatory monitoring of the international market for renewable energies, hydrogen and e-fuels;
  • Write reports, minutes, summary documents and technical notes.

Profile required:

  • 5 years of higher education, such as a business school or a general engineering school (or a technical school with a general or commercial vocation).
  • Languages: fluent and technical French and English (spoken and written). Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or other languages would be a plus.
  • IT: Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Understanding the issues and problems involved in the energy transition;
  • Knowledge of renewable energy markets would be a plus.

  • Autonomous and methodically organised;
  • Ability to listen, analyse and summarise;
  • Communication: fluency in oral and written expression;
  • Good interpersonal skills: you enjoy working in a team;
  • Curiosity, proactivity, initiative.

  • Duration 12 to 24 months
  • Based in Montpellier (Pérols)
  • Position to be filled as soon as possible (start of the 2025/2026 academic year)
